Why an SFW edition?

Well, there's two main reasons.

The first one is a creative reason. I was never satisfied with the result of the original game. I thought that the dating sim mechanics and the sexual content were getting in the way of the story and the gameplay, rather that helping them. But I am a stubborn person and since that was the original concept, I went on despite thinking it wasn't working as well as it should. I thought of filtering that content dinamically including an option in preferences, but at that point it was all too intertwined to be a viable solution.

The second reason is that I'm quite fond of the story, its over the top cynical view, and the simple but varied gameplay elements, and maybe there are people who would play the game this way because they don't like the NSFW content, which, as I said, wasn't esential for the main story.

Certain details of the characters and their backgrounds were lost in the process of pruning the NSFW content, but I think it's a fair price to pay for a better flowing story and cleaner gameplay..

¿Por qué una versión SFW?

Hay dos razones principales.

La primera es una razón creativa. Nunca estuve realmente satisfecho con el juego original. Sentía que las mecánicas dating sim y el contenido sexual estorbaban a la historia y el gameplay, en lugar de contribuir a ellos. Pero soy una persona testaruda y me atuve a ese concepto original, a pesar de pensar que no estaba funcionando tan bien como debía. Pensé en introducir una opción de filtrado en el menú de preferencias, pero a esas alturas, estaba todo demasiado mezclado para ser viable.

La segunda razón es que estoy bastante orgulloso de la historia, con su exagerada visión cínica y los simples pero variados elementos de gameplay, y pensé que quizás podría haber gente dispuesta a jugar una versión del juego desprovista del contenido NSFW, que, de todas maneras, no era esencial para la historia.

Algunos detalles de los personajes y su pasado se han perdido en el proceso de purgado de contenido, pero creo que es un precio justo a pagar por una historia que fluye mejor y un gameplay menos confuso.
